Dear Paulo,
I was pleased to see this book when I woke up, I'm very interested in the culture that you're presenting me. However, I was hoping for more of a Spanish culture to be prevalent (which I could be very mistaken because I'm not that far...). But so far all I've seen is the fortune teller. Which I think has something to do with the culture of Spain, but I was disappointed at how the most focused is the culture of shepherding. Where's that Spanish flare that we are so used to hearing about and seeing and reading about? I dearly hope that as I travel deeper into this novel that I'll be gravely mistaken in that department and that culture is thrust in my face.
